OMG, I was just thinking about you! Down here near Portland we had one power outage on Thursday for half the night and another one that's just finished after about 3 hours. I was pulling my hair out just from those. I told my husband he'd have to drive me to the airport so I could recharge my laptop battery! ;)

Thanks for thinking of me! My power is finally back on. Four days is too long without electricity but I'm just happy it wasn't down for a week (which is what PSE had estimated for my area, this afternoon).

I really wish laptop batteries lasted longer. I was going to go to the library and charge all my stuff up again if this lasted much longer.

Was the weather very bad in Oregon? Unfortunately, I've only heard very local news for that past few days & don't know how wide spread the storming was.

I think a tree fell on some power lines on a busy street near my house, so all the traffic lights stopped working. Makes driving not so fun.

The roadways have been an adventure of sorts these past couple of days. Some people have been incredibly rude and I'm amazed at how many people don't understand that concept of intersections as 4-way/all-way stops.

Yeah, I had the same problem! Stupid people not following basic traffic rules. *sigh*

They are!! As of this morning the streets are once again traffic light-ed. :)
