The Police
I just got back from seeing The Police in concert. It was pretty rad. There was a lot of really great rock guitar and some awesome reggaeish bass beats. I also enjoyed the percussion, with the little cymbals and bells and timpani (I believe). Plus, the drummer was silly so I liked him. Sting's voice still sounds great and he's pretty good looking for a man of advancing years (I don't actually know how old he is). They played all their big hits, a bunch of songs I vaguely recognized, and a few more besides.

Before the concert I went to Easy Street Records and bought The Matches' album E. Von Dahl Killed the Locals and the May issue of Kerrang (w/The Used as cover boys..."crazy Bert is back" according to the cover!).

Yeah, Jepha does seem really chill. Plus he has awesome tattoos, seems really cuddly, and has a nice speaking voice. I read the stuff that Quinn said about MCR and I hope it was a misunderstanding. I didn't think I'd like him so much after reading that stuff but his silliness on YouTube won me over. Yesterday I watched a video (it might have been from their dvd?) w/Quinn and Jepha "answering fan questions" (possibly in a laundry closest?) and they were totally loaded and it was HYSTERICAL. :)

Jepha does seem cuddly, now that you mention it. I do like his speaking voice, as well. Quinn's silliness definitely kind of wins me over any misunderstandings in the press. Yep, the fan questions was from the DVD. I almost peed my pants laughing at them, Quinn and Jepha together are hilarious :D Have you seen that thing on YouTube with Quinn and Jepha as wizards? So funny!

Yes, I've seen the "wiztards" video. The two of them are an absolute riot together.
